2	Module objectives and skills to be acquired Induction in an extensive recent research topic of the student's main focus (geophysics or meteorology) and its scientific presentation. Acquired skills: Time management Self-reliance Effective working methods Rhetoric
3	Module content The project serves as the preparation for the master thesis and is supposed to build a thematic union with it. Together with the master thesis, the project deals with an extensive research topic of geophysics or meteorology.

5	Prerequisites (for the module) Formal: Passed module "Literature Review of Current Research Topic".
6	Type of examination The results of the research project are presented in a seminar talk (graded).
7	Credits awarded The module is passed, and the credit points will be awarded, if the examination (seminar talk) is passed
