Be sure to check out the FESSTVaL - one of the largest meteorological measurement campaigns in Germany of the last years with many national and international partners. Our group contributes with ground-based remote sensing to study the boundary layer structure, to capture cold air pools associated with strong summer-time thunderstorms, as well as to measure wind gusts in general.
